Unit 1 covers place value, number patterns, and money. This week, students were able to identify and describe numbers as odd and even and used place value patterns to skip count forward and backward by 10 and 100.

Mission for the Class
My mission for my children is to provide a fun, safe, and challenging learning environment for all learners. I will do my best to reach every child at the level they are and provide meaningful, multisensory activities and lessons to enrich learning.
I have always wanted to be a teacher and love to create new and exciting activities for my students. In my classroom, I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect. I work hard to build a sense of community among my students, and I emphasize the idea of teamwork. I value cooperation and collaboration both in my classroom and as I work with my peers. I believe that great things can happen when we work together!
