Preservation
The theme of the GT reading program in third grade is preservation. Preservation is the process of saving or making treasure or things that have value last. Throughout this year we will learn how studying preservation can help up understand literature and how preservation can help us understand our own lives.
Math
Unit 1: Place Value, Number Patterns, and Money
Unit 1 covers place value, number patterns, and money. This week, students were able to identify and describe numbers as odd and even and used place value patterns to skip count forward and backward by 10 and 100.
